Ontario Gets FIT

North America’s first comprehensive Feed In Tariff (FIT) program was officially launched October 1^st.  The program was designed to bring large amounts of renewable energy into the supply system and encourage the development of power projects by First Nations communities, homeowners, factories, offices and larger-scale commercial generators.  Applications for the initial launch phase will be accepted until November 30, 2009.  For more information please visit:  www.fit.powerauthority.on.ca
